Happy to be back!

Hey Everyone!

I am so excited to be back amongst you all, Its been forever and I thought when the guys gave us the sad news they were closing shop that was a final good bye.

I wish I knew sooner that they were working on bringing it back but I am here now.

So much has happened since we last talked, I finally earned my private pilot certificate and I am currently working on my Instrument and Commercial. I almost transitioned to RotorCraft but unfortunately the school was full. I still havent decided what exactly I want to do with my Pilot Cert yet but its been adventure so far.

Happy to be back and look forward to chating with you all again soon.

Congrats on the the new cert and its great to see you again!

You haven’t missed too much, this forum operation is only a couple of weeks old at this point.

You are one of the handful of early adopters that will help shape and guide the direction that this ends up going.

I too have the rotor bug! Haven’t been able to do it yet, but its definitely on my goal list.

What sparked the interest in helicopters?

So glad you joined! I know you’ve been keeping me updated along the way but wanted to publicly congratulate you on your Private Pilot Certificate! In your field, with your background, I can totally get why you’d want to go rotorcraft! Pricey, but I think it’d be really rewarding for you

Welcome back, Jeremy!

Even if it’s an hour a month to infinity, chip away at that rotorcraft rating, it’s the best.

Seaplane is pretty cool too.

Thanks!,

So to be fair I was never really a Fan of Helicopters, but there are some many jobs that start and end at the same place and a lot of those jobs go hand in hand with my current profession that I started to see the light.

But the school can only take no more then 80% government funded students for that program and unfortunately they have zero students paying out of pocket because of the price

So I had to continue fixed wing but I haven’t given up on it

Yeah, I feel like your resume would give you a leg up for medevac operations. Both are awesome (fixed wing & helicopter). Can’t go wrong either way!

Hell yeah, I can totally see why someone would want to go the rotorcraft route. You get to hang out like a firehouse when on call and get a lot of time at home while making pretty decent money. What’s not to love?
