Lake Erie Islands Flight Legend Ryan Eckel and I made a pizza run to Kelley’s Island this week.
It was painful to NOT be able to order the adult beverages that we wanted! Had to stick with waters and I ordered a virgin Captan & Coke.
A Saratoga called over flying Kelley’s for landing as we were doing a run up. Ryan recognized the voice as none other than Lake Erie Islands Flight Legend Jeff Danevich.
We proceeded to have a several minute conversation on the CTAF about how legendary this all was, as two aircraft behind Ryan and I were waiting for us to get out of there way for takeoff…
