@LeeGriffing (or anyone else) how familiar are you with these?
Seems like an interesting option for a 6 place seaplane.

I’ve seen a few examples locally and it always feel like I’ve had a stroke thinking initially it’s an oddly sized Beaver, especially with some paint jobs it takes a minute.
Bearhawk 5 still seems like a better airplane other than float flying…
This thing looks sweet if you were going the &fib route.
But this is just based on the 10 mins I spent looking at them this morning! haha
I’ve seen a couple. And @TylerBrunkhorst is spot on. You’ll do a double take if its got the radial. They’re an option for sure!
That Russian Radial they put on them makes me a bit nervous. I still would be tempted to roll the dice for a radial though. A radial on that would take the cool factor up significantly.
Kit fox with a radial is kinda trippy too. Reminds me of a baby Cessna 195
I love this concept, but it seems (based on the internet) that these radials are lest than ideal in the reliability dept. I’d like to talk with somebody who owns/works on the Rotec or Russian radials.
That radial is widely used. I think they’re still in use by the Russian airforce.
The Rotecs don’t have a model with enough power for something as big as the Moose, if I remember correctly.
No, there basically just for kitfox size stuff.
