Bid is currently at $71,000 and the reserve hasn’t been met.
I along with the rest of the world is wondering what @LeeGriffing thinks it will go for.
Anyone have any ideas on how the state of Nebraska ended up with a PA-18?

Hm. I can’t guess what it goes for, only what I think it should go for which is $190,000-220,000.
Probably used by fish and game
or something. Pipeline patrol?
I would assume the maintenance has been good on it being gov owned/operated.
I think it has great value. If you get it for under $150,000 its a steal. But this is from only looking at pics and knowing it has a mid-time engine
Bid is up to $90,000.00 USD.
The Reserve is now met.
10 days left.
What are you gonna bid?
We need a $30,000 roof this year right after we spent $40,000 on impact windows and doors last year so…. Haha
Treat it as an investment! It’ll only become more valuable
Seems like a pretty plain super cub so I’d guess it goes for around 120-130?
I initially wanted to agree with Lee and say it was probably Game and Fish but looks it’s registered in the name of Nebraska State Patrol which uses aircraft for “aerial speed enforcement and traffic observation, search and rescue, surveillance, photography, pursuits and criminal apprehension, natural disaster response, and the transportation of agency personnel and equipment.”
Ian! Welcome back!!
That seems like it would be a way better gig then the highway patrol job in northern Ohio where he fly’s around the 182 all day…
Thanks! Glad to connect again.
Super Cub > 182 for sure.
@IanArendt Look where the bid is now.
$136,500.00 USD with 5 days left.
Staying steady with 3 days left, now. There is still time for me to be close to right.
@RobertBerger you won it?
Nope… lost it by $5!
